Rev. H. Patrick Cason, a Virginia Beach native, has been proclaiming the Gospel for over a decade and currently serves as Senior Pastor of Bethany Baptist Church in Chesapeake, VA, since 2016. Married to Latora L. Cason with two daughters, Niara and Harmony, he holds a B.A. in Music Media from Norfolk State University, dual Master’s degrees in Divinity and Christian Education from Virginia Union University, and is pursuing a Doctorate in Homiletics at Chicago Theological Seminary. Mentored early in ministry by his grandfather, Dr. Harold Cason Sr., Pastor Cason was licensed and ordained in 2009 and has since built a reputation for passionate preaching that applies scripture to daily life. He founded the nonprofit A Real Chance VA to positively impact the community, conducts daily online prayer and broadcasts, and has been recognized with several awards, including the Outstanding Community Leader Award from Chesapeake’s mayor.
